Beginnings with a Grain of Salt

Ladies. Gentlemen. Runners of all genders.

Pleased to meet you. I'm Miko. Chances are, if you're reading this, you've read Uzuki's post regarding me. I'll be helping out Uzuki with various things around this blog, from the occasional post, to collecting information, to even assistance with the occasional youtube update.

I've offered what jobs I can do for the sake of Runners United. I may be able to provide previously unknown information, do a bit of detective work, or even whip up some videos regarding current events and happenings.

Let's see, I suppose I can tell you at least a little bit about myself. My real name's Daulton. As Uzuki said, though, who needs real names? I'll be posting under Miko. Hmm. I'm 17 years old, and as Uzuki said, one of the few bloggers that isn't a runner. yet. I also may not be the most experienced of all bloggers, but then again, I suppose all of us are still learning.

Either way, you can expect to see me around this blog and prehaps the YouTube channel a good bit. I'll be helping out with edits, minor posts, or the occasional info dump. No matter what I do, I'll still be holding an interest in the events and forthcomings of the various runner blogs.

While I'm here, I'd also like to extend my condolences to Shiniva Myrh. I did not know her as well as Uzuki did, but that doesn't change the fact that we all feel sorrow for the loss of one of our fellow runners. I know Uzuki will continue to investigate as to the exact causes, and further information will be supplied as it arises.

Until the next time we meet, stay safe runners.

-Miko

Notices and Nostalgia

Okay, I've got a few things I'd like to cover in this post, so I'm going to go over them quickly and make everything perfectly clear.

Shiniva Myrh - While she's been clarified to be dead, myself, as well as Serena Luona, as well as Shiniva's previous running companions, are still trying to piece together how she died. I made a notice up on her blog and I might cover it a bit here as a part of the Daily Runner News. She was my friend. I have to find out what happened.

Second, whoopdie doo, I just realized that this blog has been opened since 2011. Didn't think I'd be keeping it going this long. I think I was 14 when it started? Anyway, I'm 16 now. Time flies.

Okay, nostalgia over.

We've got a new worker here at Runner's United. Remember that Daulton fellow I mentioned in a few previous posts months back? Well, him and I became pretty good buds over the last long while and he's agreed to help me maintain this blog as well as the Youtube channel that I have associated with it. You'll be seeing posts not only from me, but from him as well (let's call him Miko just because real names are for idiots around here :3). He may be doing the Daily Runner News or he may just be giving updates. We'll see what happens.

Also, while I'm on the subject . . . the Youtube channel.

The Runner's United Youtube channel is . . . well, it's a piece of shit. There are only 3 videos, all three that I posted maybe a year or 2 years ago. I might start it up again if I can get a working camera (my sis has one but who knows how often I'll be able to use it) or whatever, so //hopefully// you guys can expect some stuff in the near future.

Again, Miko and I are one of the only bloggers around here not on the run yet. We may as well take advantage of the life we have now by helping you guys as much as we can.

Thanks, guys. As twisted as it may sound, its great to be a part of all this again. Peace be with you.

I Gotta Stop Coming Back.

Hey guys, it's been a few months. Less time than I expected, actually, but whatever, I'm here.

I didn't really catch up on the news on what's going on with everyone until yesterday. Still watching over the same old folk, although Cairo has taken . . . quite a turn. Well, okay, he hasn't taken a turn, but he's admitted to being an agent.

Ezekiel Strahm died. I'm going to miss that tough son of a bitch. But at least he doesn't have to suffer anymore.

I'm not even going to bother talking about M. Although it does depress me that my greatest running hero has either a.) gone missing, or b.) died. Probably the latter. Seems to be happening a lot these days.

Noah from Tribe Twelve had a pretty close encounter with death, but he made it out, surprisingly enough. I gotta hand it to him, he got lucky.

Oh yes. Shiniva Myr. Dead. I would have put a notice up on her blog but I can't for the life of me remember what her email and password is. If any of you know what her email is I can at least do a password check because her email is linked to mine. So yeah, if any of you guys know her email, let me know. Although I doubt any of you will. She wasn't much for being sociable in her situation. If I can get her email I'll put a proper notice up on her blog but if not, I'll leave it at that and just make a notice on it later when I'm more in the mood. Right now I just don't want to think about it.

I guess that's all I have for the Daily Runner News. Not so much "daily" considering I don't post as often as I used to. I know some of you may think me cruel for making this like some kind of website broadcast, but I have to do this to keep myself sane and to know what everyone else is doing, to make sure they're safe, some more than others. It's depressing I can't do anything to help though. I would if I could. I really would.

Me?

Well, I'm the same as ever. Technology freaking out around me and overall just trying to enjoy myself. I go to a friend's place, their internet usually dies around me until I leave, but it doesn't happen at home for some reason. If it's His work than I can imagine it's because he doesn't want me being public from other people's computers. He wants me to stay here, in this room, in this house. I guess you could say He's boxing me in from all sides.

Made a new running buddy. She showed up shortly after I found out Shiniva died. She was actually the one that told me, when it wasn't my intuition already that she had died. Luka ran into her somewhere; he told her, and eventually, she told me, knowing I was a friend of Shiniva's. Oh yes, her name is Serena. Serena Luona. Weird name, but I like it. Pretty sure the last name is just something to cover her identity. I got her into blogging as a way to cope the other day because the only way we've been communicating is through email.

I guess we're just one big happy fucking family.

Anyway, that's all for now. Might post something else later tonight. It's only 5:00 pm here so I'll probably get the urge to write something just to get it off my chest.

Peace be with you all.
